Networking Charity

This donation window is now closed. Thank you for your charitable donations.

A charitable beginning to aid the Winter Daytime Shelter in Mount Vernon begins this Friday, January 27 through February 17, 2023.

The Winter Daytime Shelter is in dire need of women's supplies. By donating gently used coats (for women and men), socks, hats, gloves, and shoes we respond to those who have lost hope during a homeless experience.

This is a perfect time of year to clean house of things no longer being used and pass them on to people who are in need. No donation, clothing or financial is too small.

Two different drop sites include:

La Conner Washington Federal Bank

620 Morris Street, La Conner, WA 98257

Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Mount Vernon First United Methodist Church

1607 East Division, Mount Vernon, WA 98274

Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Winter Daytime Shelter is now open and located at the First United Methodist Church, 1607 East Division, Mount Vernon. The church works closely with Welcome Home Skagit, a homeless intervention and prevention non-profit providing peer support, advocacy, and essential behavioral support programs.
